Imagine that you have a friend. You have known him for a long time already. You have spent time with him. You have a good normal conversation with him a lot. You have dinner with him as well. However, you have no idea the real him. Later he had killed 8 CIA spies. What would you feel then? Would you proudly tell the world that you have crazy friend? Or would you say you have a very genius friend because he could break into CIA security system? Would you then say, he was smarter than Central Intelligence Agency?
Would the above statement reminds you on The Good Shephard where Matt Damon had married with Fish lips Angelina Jolie? His natural born ( Bourne) stone-face had made him a really good actor in becoming a spy. I have no idea what's the movie on about, but I could somehow presume that it's about the birth of CIA. It tells the audience that CIA is a secretive institutions where their know-how would not go public. It involves hidden informations and very confidential reports. It would not leak to cyberspace and only the CIA members are able to access on it. Just watch The Good Shephard or other CIA's movies in order for you to get the gist of what the hell is CIA.
When you heard about CIA, quickly you would presume that they are very intelligent, the agents have 1000 I.Q. and ultimately they have intellectual clever minds. But would you depend on them very much as well? I think this is the dilemma that the Obama Administration is facing at the moment. Obama has no idea whether he could depend on this secretive agency to tell him the full details of confidential informations. Like terrorism. If you read this article: Naked body scan, you would know that anyone with knowledge on making powder explosives, could be like Umar Farouk; the Underwear Bomber.
Take a quick read on this article: Al Qaeda Bullshits CIA.
If you have read it, you might ask these sorts of questions like: " how come the CIA was fooled by a doctor for nearly 5 years?", " how come the CIA let this Jordon doctor to roam in Afghanistan which might have given him easy access to his Al-Qaeda counterparts", and " CIA is incompetence. Stupid, idiot, ineptitude, clumsy, inexperience, and sux aren't they?"
If you are the type of reader who tend to scroll down and scan through words like Tony Buzan, but hasn't got the skill of speed reading which makes you fail to comprehend the actual meanings in every sentences, I suggest you to read my abstracts. It's very persuasive like those dissenting judgments by Lord Denning.
About the article above, it tells me that this Balawi guy who was a doctor and who was also arrested by the CIA last year had successfully got through a US security base in eastern Afghanistan. 80 agents were killed in the blast when a secretary who looked like Dwayne Johnson, let him in. Before he bombed himself into smithereens, he was once a Taliban spy. But he was later captured by CIA and forced him to be on their side. Then, after 2 years of punishment and tortured, the Balawi guy made a package deal with the CIA that he would be their spy and informed them who was the taliban leader. But he later decided to kill the CIA, not the Taliban. Why? Had the Taliban said something which made him to trust them more than the CIA? The name of the dead agents were not for public disclosure because the government was afraid that the public would know the hidden secrets kept by them for many years. What exactly would the secret be? Is it involving UFO sightings?
At this point you might ask yourself, " WTF?! 80 agents? Or, "WTF! I thought this Jordanian double agent has successfully bombed the real CIA headquarter in USA. Just a small base in Afghanisan? Such a disappointment." Or " WTF is this blog all about?"
On a serious note, I have no real intention to rebuke CIA. I have no idea what's CIA stands for when I watched Numb3r; the american television drama about a mathematical genius played by David Krumholtz ( the one who was in Harold and Kumar's movie). I have no idea that CIA involves James Bond secret spy agents ideology. But after I have read the BBC article ( link above) and watched Get Smart, now I know that CIA may as well be known as Central Incompetence Agency, or Central Idiot Agency.
Q: Who would you be willing to betray if you were acting as a double/ triple agent? Would you betray the one who has originally recruited you, or the one who has captured and forced you to be on their side?
